Working his way through the ranks of American college golf, he has represented Young Harris College at D2 level, later transferring to The University of South Carolina in The Southeastern Conference, followed by a 5th year at The University of North Florida. He has represented the Malta Golf Association in junior and amateur events throughout his career.

He has represented Malta internationally on numerous occasions, highlighted by winning the Cyprus Amateur at Aphrodite Hills — becoming the first Maltese golfer to win an amateur international tournament.
