JJ Micallef is a Maltese amateur golfer and member of the Royal Malta Golf Club. A University of London graduate, he is a self-taught golfer who developed his game in Malta, with further refinement through competitive play in the UK and national-team coaching. He has represented Malta internationally on numerous occasions, highlighted by winning the Cyprus Amateur at Aphrodite Hills — becoming the first Maltese golfer to win an amateur international tournament.
