Executive Board

The MALTA GOLF ASSOCIATION was founded in 2006 and acts as the governing body for the sport of golf in the Maltese Islands and observes the Rules of Golf and the Rules of Amateur Status as laid down by the R&A of St. Andrews.

The Association is a non-profit organization run by golfers for the benefit of golfers with membership predominantly open to amateur golfers who are members of a golf club or golf society within the geographical area of the association irrespective of gender, colour and religion.

The Association is affiliated to the R&A; the International Golf Federation and the European Golf Association. Locally it is registered with the Maltese Olympic Committee, Sport Malta, the Authority for Integrity in Maltese Sports and the Commissioner of Voluntary Organisations.

The management of the affairs of the Association is vested in the Executive Council, in accordance with the provisions and regulations of a Statute.
